Cull Bull Marketing Options
Protocol is for cull bulls to be castrated then marketed by either degree of
finish or at the owner’s instruction. Cattleland Feedyards currently
has a sealed bid system of selling cattle that is managed by Mr. Pat Fisher.
Owners will be called when market opportunity outside of the sealed sale may
present itself. We market to all major Canadian and American buyers and present
cattle as rail, grid or live for bids according to what would best describe
the cattle and benefit the livestock owner. Cattleland Feedyards Ltd. also
manages delivery contracts on slaughter cattle at the owner’s request.
